I highly recommend this one. As an Outlander fan, the similarity is not in the fantasy elements of Outlander, but on the character driven, romance, and history side. The love story between the main characters is similar to Jamie and Claire from Outlander, plus the element of someone who is living undercover in a culture not their own. Plus there are 2 sequels to BH that continue the story, so it is not just a "happily ever after" kind of romance book.
