Good management tool as powerful as calibre but for media files?

Calibre is a very powerful tool, it is customizable as most of us would ever need.
I'm looking for a similar tool but to manage my media files, i.e video, audio, and pictures.
I've tried several tools, but none of them as customizable as Calibere is for ebooks.
Does any one know a good software/workflow that might fill this gap?

Thirded. I've been using it for 10+ years now and I can't imagine my media collection without it. There's a bit of a learning curve, but the user forums are a fantastic resource. Some amazingly helpful folks there.

It looks interesting, but you should note that the program is $50 (though there's a free trial).

They usually have a sale a couple times a year, though it might just be for upgrades. I have been using it so long I didn't know it was up to $50 now, but it's worth it.… even though I only use the music aspects of it.

If you need a program for music only, nothing beats Foobar2K.

Not for the faint of heart, and only for Windows.
