				Hi everyone, I'm back.

Hey everyone, sorry for the long time away, but life sorta kicked me in the south parts and sucked me away from here and many other things, so I've had a very limited online life the past year plus. The biggest problem I've been dealing with is my mom has dementia so I've basically been living with a 10 year old in a 65 year old's body, slowly devolving towards 5 year old and below. It totally sucks your life and free time (especially for writing) down the toilet. But I'm back again. Or at least I'm gonna try to be. No bets on the staying ability though. But I'll try. So, what interesting stuff have I missed in the last year I've been gone? |

Thanks vydorscope. I'm doing my best to get by. But yeah, it's tough. Keeping up with her is also kinda killing my writing mojo. The stress has basically taken my creativity of late and shoved it into the round file. But I'll get through this. |

It's sad that you and your mom have to go through this but good that you are doing your best to take good care of her. |

Steven: Not fun. Life can certainly kick you hard. But, here's a thought. I don't know what genre you turn to but your last year's experience sounds like a great backdrop for a novel... write what you know. Tony |

I totaly feel for you. My mom had dementia and passed away suddenly last year from a stupid fall (from a two step staircase). Life is very hard sometimes. I'm trying to get back to writing after a few years. Still procrastinating, but I've made some progress. |

Sorry to hear of your mother's passing pencilone. It's never easy to lose a parent even when they are in bad health.

Thanks guys. Yeah, it's hard, and we have our good days and bad days, but overall I'm slowly getting in the flow of things. In fact I've started entertaining ideas to go back and patch up some older novels to give more updated, cleaner copies, and even entertained some possible new story ideas as well. Hopefully I can get back into the flow of writing again and take things forward, despite life kicking me in the nuts daily. |

Thanks for your kind words, crich70. Yes, it is one of the hardest things life throws at us.
