I've created a new thread Instructions for patching firmware 3.1.1 with the idea that everything you need to patch firmware 3.1.1 will be in this thread with instructions in the opening post. If anything is not clear let me know and I'll try to explain it better.

Seems like a very good idea to me, or some kind of small wiki ?
But then the opening post must be done by someone that knows where it is all over about,and who is frequent enough here to maintain it.

This is an alternative to the standard line spacing patch for firmware 3.0.1 (644485e229). It allows all 15 line spacing values to be set, and it is as easy to configure as the standard patch.

3.2 is out but as usual its a limited distribution, and so far no one has captured the download location.

Does anyone know how to find the keyboard data in the current firmware? I would like to add a ’ (curly apostrophe) character to the keyboard, at the moment it is impossible to enter names like O’Brian, and a search for author O'Brian doesn't match O’Brian in the bookstore.

There have been a lot of little code changes in firmware 3.3.0, and I cant get some of the patches working yet.

So far I have tested: Custom reading footer, font sizes, line spacing (10 and 15 values), margins, advanced font control, brightness fine control, unitless epub line height, synopsis font size fix.

Done but not tested: wifi insomnia, search library default, margins fine tuning, download all in browser.

Not working: Long paragraph bug fix, redundant cover image fix.

Does mz_koboreaderpatch_11.exe (self-extracting archive) which contains kpg.exe work for any firmware? Like can I use it to build the patch for 3.3.0?
