Did you try adding a copy of the ebook it's looking for to the library?

I cannot be of much help except to say you are not alone. I got a similar message when I updated to 2.0.1 sometime ago, it also did not respond to the "Do not show again" option.
I never figured out how to get rid of it, and as far as I recall I could find no reference to the problem in the Adobe support forums. But must confess I did not spend long chasing after it and just went back to 1.7.2. However, my situation is that I only use ADE to check e-books for my own use, not for others (thanks for your many contributions to the Library ).

Let it add the book,
Then remove it from the 'Library'. (I know, a PITA , but it might get rid of the nag)This is probably another case of corporate 'walled garden' type thinking. |

Do you have ANY books in your ADE library? I only ask because I've used ADE in a similar manner (launching from Windows explorer, or calibre, to preview the book) from version 1.7 - 3 and I've never seen that message. I do have a handful of books in my library, though (as well as having ADE registered with an AdobeID).
I've seen lots of complaints about that message, but I know it's at least possible to use ADE like you want to without that message. I've done it for a long time, now. |
