Well, I'm in the US and nothing has changed for me (yet).

I've noticed one can click on Cloud Library and then on each device and all books on only that device show. Thus, one can take some actions on specific devices.

That's good for me since my wife uses 2 devices, I use 2 devices plus my PC and now I can customize what books are on each device. When one clicks on a device, it shows a check mark on each book on that device and a download arrow to place the book on the device. There is a warning that any other actions must be done when clicking on Cloud Library.

I noticed in the Cloud Library each book can have a label on it, "Update Available." My "One Year Bible" has that tag.

If one selects one or more books, the following options appear for all selected: Deliver to my.......(select device), Delete from library, More actions (clear furthest page read, read now, download and transfer via USB), Deselect all. This would be a good place to select a Collection label but its not there yet.

The only problem I see is that one must use the Back Button to get out of MYK page. There is no menu exit.

If this new design was for the US site, why can't others in the US see it as noted earlier in this thread?

I just noticed that there as a new hot point labelled "Settings" on the MYK page. From there one can change all of the following:

1. Country settings - you can change to any country you want. This is BRAND NEW. Will this one change what Amazon site one actually accesses? Will it be possible for non-US residents to choose the US site?
2. Whisper Sync settings.
3. Automatic book update
4. Language Optimized storefront (I wonder how many and which languages will be offered.)
5. Personal Document settings
6. Manage Whispercast membership (I have no idea what that is.)
7. Your Amazon local vouchers

This is all new to me especially the Country settings. I may postpone doing anything with these settings until others here try them first.

The only feature apparently not available is some sort of Collection Manager. If this is a beta site, then maybe the gold site will have that as well.

Amazon seldom rolls anything out for all users at the same time & sometimes it's not even user based, but changes back and forth. I had the new MYK last night on my laptop, but today on my work computer I'm getting the old version. The same thing happens to me with Amazon's overall website. Sometimes I get the older look and sometimes the newer one.

I don't like the new design because it takes so dang long to load, even in list view. It shows every book you have all on one page. I only have about 500 Amazon books. I can't imagine the poor people who have a couple thousand books. They's have to go out to lunch, and then take a coffee break waiting for the whole thing to load.

They might be A/B testing the new design, they do this frequently with site changes. I am seeing the old design (Boo!). Can someone tell me if the new design shows you read/unread books? That is my main gripe with MYK.

Way too slow for my tastes too!

When viewing for a specific device you get these two notices:

• Select one or more content items below to Deliver to device.
• For applying any other actions on content-items, please move to Your Cloud Library

At least we can now download as many items at once as we desire when we get a new device are have to reset one. Beats the old DL one at a time and spend forever doing so.

I've got it on my alternate account! The one with only 42 books. I sure hope bigger archives will show smaller thumbs! My main account has nearly 7000 on it.

Well I signed back in on my Prime account, and the new page is there. (with giant thumbs)

For me, with almost 8,000 books, it's a lot better than the old. The old took forever to load all of your books before you could search or anything. This one allowed me to search my books right away with no waiting even though all of the thumbnails hadn't loaded.

That is definitely a plus.

In fact, lots of things sound like a plus, but unfortunately, I still have no idea, I can't see it.

Random thought. Does anyone have any idea how Amazon may be letting people into the new page? Maybe a variable in the url?
