EDIT: Signed out on the US site just in case, but still no dice. EDIT: I haven't done a CC yet as I wanted to just try buying a free book first to make sure everything worked okay and was going to do a giftcard if it did. Last edited by AnemicOak; 12-25-2013 at 02:13 AM.

You can sign into Amazon.co.uk with your Amazon.com U.S. info. in order to buy the gift cards, did you by chance sign into Amazon.co.uk that way? I can be signed into both my Amazon.co.uk account and my Amazon.com accounts simultaneously in different tabs in the same browser, so I don't think you would have to log out of Amazon.com U.S. Maybe look around all the settings in the Amazon.co.uk account and make sure the new email you are using in it is correct (and not your U.S. account info. by mistake). Maybe you have used that email address on a U.S. Amazon account some time in the past and forgot? Is it a brand new email address you are using? Maybe you could try again with another brand new email address and try some of the above? You may then need to uninstall and reinstall K4PC once you get an account working correctly. I hope some part of this helps!

Is setting up a UK account if you also have a US account against Amazon terms? I'd hate to get my US account closed because of this.

There are way too many to list, but there are dozens and dozens of crime novels in the Amazon UK "12 Days of Kindle" sale which runs until 5th Jan. Most cost 99p, some a little more, but all seem to be £1.99 or less.

Aus Kobo has got William Boyd's Restless $3.99 and discountable (bookriot50 works if you can't get a better code from the Discounts thread) Quote:

Amazon UK has many books on special offer for the "Twelve Days of Christmas", but I'd like to mention especially that an omnibus of the first three Inspector Morse books by Colin Dexter is currently available for £1.49!

Another interesting program to watch/tape is Ian Rankin's Doors Open too much in Aus - but in Kobo India it's an excellent 307.49 rupees (approx AUD5.37) and discountable (bookriot50 works) Quote:
NB: Of course one would need to be spending one's holidays in India or perhaps Norfolk Island or Hong Kong to take advantage of the book at the bargain price. Edit Bookriot50 only works on the new Kobo checkout (such as India out of the 3 mentioned) Last edited by Lynx-lynx; 12-27-2013 at 05:26 PM.

There are several mysteries in the US Amazon Local 100 books for $0.99 deal, mentioned in this thread, including all four Oliver Pötzsch/Hangman’s Daughter books, a couple of Ed McBain/Matthew Hope books (Snow White and Rose Red and Mary, Mary) and some mysteries from Amazon’s in-house Thomas & Mercer publishing arm - depending on whether you call that self-pubbed or not. YMMV...the Thomas & Mercer ones I noticed included mysteries by Kay Finch, Diane Sawyer, Marty Ambrose and Carol Costa. I didn’t look exhaustively, so there are probably some others too.
