Meta Data will not download any more

Hello,

since a few days I experience the Problem that meta data will not download any more.

I add a log file from an unsuccesful download.

Can someone help?

@adrian142 Looks like something is preventing calibre from accessing the web, check firewall and anti-virus settings

Another MR member had a similar problem recently - the Avast anti-virus package appears to have been the problem, see https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...79&postcount=3

I agree.
Your firewall software may have detected some slight difference and is now blocking calibre.
See if you can update the Firewalls 'white list'

If you only use 1 or 2 metadata sources it/they may be off-air

Does the Get Books function deliver results if you search for say Author? Can you install any plugins via Preferences->Plug-ins->Get new plug-ins.

If not then something - firewall, anti-virus, operating system, network management - is blocking calibre network access.

Without providing the job details we have no idea if you have the same problem. What OS are you using?
