Self-extracting package, thus the exe. It has all the previous mods in it too.

if you dont like the self extracting function, you can also rename the extension .exe to .7z

I just wasn't aware of the existence of self-extracting archives. Now I just right-clicked and chose "unpack" from the 7-zip menu - worked perfectly. About half the size of a normal .rar or .zip, that self-extracting thingy, it seems. Not bad.

When you run the patch program you need to have one disabled (commented out with a '#' as the first char of the line) and the other enabled (no '#').

I think the default as per Metazoa's original kpg.conf has the 'Disabled' option selected rather than the 'Decreased' option. So if you didn't swap the options before proceeding it would explain why you can't see page x of y.

The left margin is a little bigger than the right one.

Here are some patches for firmware 3.1.0 (d1b2f00933), tested on my Glo. Since libnickel.so.1.0.0 is the same in both the mark4 and mark5 archives, these patches should work on Glo/Aura HD/Aura and whichever other devices can run the mark4 or mark5 firmware.

There are some limited patches that can be applied using Metazoa's patcher. I've pasted my kpg.conf for 3.1.0 into the code block below. To use it, extract the libnickel.so.1.0.0 from the firmware file and place it in a directory with the kpg.conf and kpg.exe (from Metazoa's v11 patcher) and run as usual.

For me, shrinking the footer and customizing the font size and line spacing are the more critical items.

Interesting.
Using the new version 10 on the FW 2.8.1 with the same config it is reversed. The left margin is slightly smaller than the right one.
Now it is not annoying anymore.
