Here it is Nov 2013, and i was able to replace the battery after getting one on the net.
The pics helped me quite a bit. Thanks to the person who put the pics up on the forum. Also, i wanted to let everyone know who comes here to this forum that you better have GREAT close up vision, and consider doing the job on a white sheet or something similar. The screws can get easily lost if you're not careful. My reader works fine now after the new batter. i think it'll last another 6 years now (bought mine used from a friend).
