Not at all! I use my Swagbucks points for gift cards to buy my Kindle HDX and Case and Books and well you get the picture.

The RCA Tablet was paid for by my mommy as one of my early B-Day pressies. Hopefully it will help me earn lots more money. Sam (SGP5) is tired of working all day, he rather play music.

Tablet is here. I thought it was DOA and it wouldn't turn on for anything. I decided to plug into the wall charger and it fire right up turns out the battery was completely dead!

I wont know till it's charge if there is any damage to the battery.

First Impressions: It's tiny for a 7 Inch tablet. Not too heavy. Backing is cheap plastic and feels like it. Buttons are also cheap and feel like it. This is probably nice for a young kid I think.

Purple is a pinkish purple not the nice dark purple in the picture.

Oh the way its ship is in a big box with hardly any protection but some paper so I am sure it's been thrown around.

I will give it a test run later.

I think it's made for kids the plastic feels that cheap. The buttons are clunky. It's charging not very fast either must have been very dead.

Wow...I misread that. I only really want it for a part time tiny tablet. I have a 10 inch that i use most of the time. And to let me grandmother borrow for a few months, books and less that 5 games. So maybe it'll be ok. My local walmart has the 4gb I was thinking about. I may go look at that one just to see before ordering the 8gb

Look at the Nextbook 7 one too I link to earlier. I've heard nothing but good about it.

The NOOK HD 7" 8GB Tablet will be on sale for $79, regular retail is $129.

The picture in the flyer is "Snow" (white). Don't know for sure if "Smoke" (black) is also on sale.

The display is horrible for reading. Stay away from it if you want it for that. I don't think you will like it. The fonts are really hard to read. This is a crappy tablet if I was going to use it for anything other than those app I would take it back and get the Nextbook 7

The way it is backlit gives me a headache. This is for kids who dont know any better.
