According to the Amazon website (see the 'Available on these devices' dropdown) these are notepad apps that work on the Kindle 2...

Yes, Notepad works great on the K2....also, if you go to 7 dragons web page and read info on Notepad they list what folder the 'notes' are kept in on the K2...you can then place a shortcut to that folder on your desktop and add/delete/edit the 'notes' on your kindle from your computer (as long as you always insert your USB cable into the same USB slot).

Many of the so-called "Notepad" apps are simply books with blank pages, on which you can add your own annotations. As such, they should work on any Kindle.
