any word on what is new in 1.2.6.15? The release notes don't appear to have been updated to include .15.

My Glo and my Aura HD run very well with CoolReader, but some members of the German lesen.net forum experienced the same problems with their Glos as jlinton.

Here is how they fixed it:

1. the reader must be turned off
2. start the Glo with light button pushed and hold
3. after the reset synchronize with Kobo Desktop and update to firmware 2.8.1.
4. install version 1.2.6.14.

After the new install no more freezes occurred.

Maybe this works for some other people too.

My Kobo Glo arrived. FW 2.6.0 - Kobo Launcher works well, without freezing. I'll upgrade to 2.8.1 today...

You are absolutely right Ken, I have been trying to help Sergey with debugging, but obviously it is much better for him to have a glo to hand. When I said lucky, I was referring to the fact that it was working properly on his glo.
