How to activate the reading menus on Ipad
I usually end up finding a way to get into the menus (i.e. to adjust brightness, font size, etc.) when I'm reading a book, but can somebody please tell how how this is supposed to be done? [This might be a general thing for all ios apps, but I am unfamiliar with it]. Thanks much

just a tap in the center of the screen should bring up the top and bottom toolbars

If you just want to do brightness just drag your finger from the centre of the screen down or up to decrease or increase.
