Nope I haven't just waiting on later batches where QC issue will be better. Those with issues remember to leave a review on Amazon or they will never know they even have issues.

As of this moment in time there are 100 reviews on the PW 2013 page at the Amazon site. 66 are five star reviews and only 4 are one star reviews. I read through all those 4 and not one mentions the pin holes, stuck LED's or the shadows I've seen mentioned here.

Those 4 do mention instructions in French, advertisements at the Main Menu which could have been eliminated by switching to List View rather than Cover View, too much information on the main menu and another who could not understand the user guide.

How come not one of the complainers here sent in a one star review with the problems mentioned here? I happen to have submitted a 5 star review with all praises.

The answer could be that everyone with a real defective unit got a prompt replacement from Amazon and one even received a $ 50 credit for his inconvenience. The others either knew their problems were petty or never purchased a PW 2013 at all and never will.

In 2 weeks we will all receive our KFHDX units and I am sure the same complainers will be posting again how it will never match the iPad mini. On the other hand I will never purchase an iPad mini no matter how good some say it is and even though all my grandkids have them.

I see very, very faint green-pink hues, but by no means near the PW1, and I am sure most people can't even detect them.

When you guys have some extra time, check how your color vision is with this online test. It is certainly an eye opener. It does not work on tablets/phones.

Well, the PW1 (on the right, with the tiger) is blotchy, and has an especially large blob of light in the lower right. The pictures don't really show it.

I like the PW2 MUCH better than the PW1. It was way worth the upgrade.

You can turn them off also in Cover View, just like on the PW1, there is a setting somewhere. Might be in Device Info, I turned off recommendations right aways yesterday, can't remember got up too early today.

The PW2 is a slight bit lighter than the PW1.
