Chanda go into the payment section of your account and change your country there. I usually leave my actual address in situ when I change countries and then an error message will come up advising if I need to put a different post code. From memory that's all I've ever had to change. When you go to purchase the ebook then you'll need to re-enter your credit card details. I just put my Aus card details in and it works irrespective of the country that I'm buying from. Do note, if you buy from the UK that you'll be charged in GBP. Also try Hong Kong because they can be cheaper than the UK. Edit Chanda from memory Kobo makes people in India pay USD for everything don't they? Not Rupees? So if you buy from the UK site (or Hong Kong etc) does that mean that you'll pay GBP then converted by Kobo to USD then converted by your bank to Rupee? Ouch, that's expensive! Oh yep I think that PayPal's got it's merits. But PayPal have a dearer exchange rate for the AUD than my bank so that's why I use my credit card if the price has to be converted. . But for chanda in India I'm not sure what options Kobo provides because they don't sell in Rupee. |

There are a lot of mysteries on sale today (9/27) as part of the US Kindle Daily Deal: http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.htm...d_i=1000677541 These seem to include mostly Bloomsbury books, including some by Edmund Crispin (Gervase Fen), Ann Bridge (Julia Probyn), Margery Allingham, Gavin Lyall (more thriller than mystery IMO), Nicolas Freeling, HRF Keating, and others. Many have been on sale before. I'm particularly fond of the Julia Probyn books, having discovered this author/series due to a previous Bloomsbury sale. Still not dead by Pegi Price http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ENWHBQW/...HBQW&tag=false Fast paced and suspenseful, Still Not Dead is the irresistible second part of the Dead trilogy. Still Not Dead is the sequel to Not Dead Yet. The author is a divorce lawyer and a special prosecutor in domestic violence court. After being taken hostage and facing down her former husband who was supposed to have been dead, Theia Pearson expects her life will be safe and peaceful. Her former husband is in prison. She is engaged to Jack Capeto, who had worked overseas in civilian security after his military career. But when Jack refuses to tell Theia about threats he is receiving, Theia’s distrust of men erupts. Jack’s suspicious behavior leads her to wonder if he was the one who betrayed her to her former husband. Theia rejects many of the lessons she learned earlier and decides she does not need anyone in her life. They break off their engagement and Theia, though heartbroken, focuses on her law practice. A child in one of Theia’s cases is dumped by his drug addict mother in a remote ghost town that had been flooded out years before. When Theia picks up the child, she finds herself in a situation that will test her courage and resourcefulness. In order to survive, Theia will have to use every means she used to stay alive while married to her schizophrenic surgeon husband, and invent a few more. She must confront her harrowing past and overcome psychological battles as well as physical violence. |

Today's Daily Deal at Amazon UK includes 18 of Ed McBain's 87th Precinct books for £0.99 each. I just went for the very first one, myself. Might as well start at the beginning. |
