Apparently the current Kindle edition is a 30th Anniversary Edition and the Audible edition appears to be a bit older than that, so they won't sync.

My brain is a bit frazzled tonight. Everyone else went home from the beach yesterday and I thought I'd be enjoying a bit of time to myself, but my baby in the user pic has been sick since they picked him up from boarding today and hubby is en route to the emergency vet as I type. :-(

They kept him overnight and gave him fluids and he seems fine, some gazillion dollars later. Whew. I probably could've stayed at the beach but I wanted to be home. He greeted me with a high pitched bark that I translated as where were you and do you know what I've been through?!? Thanks for asking!

This was the first time I've used the Audible app on my Android phone for a long ride in the car. I have a cassette tape adapter that allows me to listen to audio through the car's audio system. Pretty cool how the book's audio stops for GPS directions, phone calls, and starts right back where it left off.

Haven't used the app yet myself, at least not to that extent, so that is very good to know.

I recently got a new car stereo with Bluetooth, because my old cassette deck was giving me problems. so now I don't even need to take the phone out of my pocket. I start the car, and the book starts playing where I left off.

OK I'm officially green with envy. Told hubby when my cassette adapter dies I'll be ready for a new car with the audio connection plug in. He said he'll buy me a new radio from Crutchfield.

Thanks. I haven't picked up an eBook of the Gaiman, so I used it in conjunction with the free Three Musketeers with purchase... 2 audiobooks for $4 isn't a bad deal.
