Anyone know if Vouchers are account specific like can I give my code to someone who doesn't have access to a mobile device and isn't a Audible member?

I am a bit pissed at amazon right now: some of the books I've been owning for a while still shows a whispersync deal on their page but when I try to buy the audible whispersync audiobook, it doens't exist anymore at audible. Examples: War Breaker by Brandon Sanderson, The Winter Sea by susanna Kearsley, Cinder by Marissa Meyer. They were books I wanted to use that 10 $ voucher on (thanks for the tip about 1market BTW). Why do they show whispersync if the deal isn't available anymore?

Do you see *any* Whispersync deals when you're in Audible? I had an Audible account separate from Amazon for a long time, and that account didn't show Whispersync deals on it. I had to agree to switch my Audible login to match my Amazon login before they'd start to show.

I do since both my accounts are linked. But the Winter Sea, for instance, isn't in the Audible catalogue anymore.

Nope, my billing address must block the access to the book. So I kept my credit card number and put another address and voilà! I have the audiobook I wanted!

Thank you so much for your help. I'm going to download all the books ASAP in case Audible would notice.

I think they tend to be. If you've already redeemed the voucher, it won't let you do it again with your account anyway, but you should be able to sign out of the app and have them sign in to the app with their account. Once they redeem the voucher, it should show up in their account on the web for them to be ablen to use it.

No I can't redeem the voucher. I'm a platinum Member so it wont work. I was wondering if I could give my promo code to someone else who isn't. Kind of like how we share Kobo codes.

tested it with my 2nd account. code works so long as person is not a monthly member (the last one didn't work in any of my accounts, so this one is much nicer).

Keep in mind, you can gift audiobooks to your main acct (but you'll want to restrict it to the DoD or very inexpensive whispersync pairs, since you don't get member pricing).

When I said redeemed I guess I should have said claimed. I figured if you claimed the voucher code with your Amazon account, it would be tied to that account, but koland seems to have shown that not to be the case.
