No ePub Available for this Book?
I recently made a purchase for book.

Unlike my other eBook Kobo purchases, there is no ePub format to download.

The book was able to download onto my Android tablet, but not on to my Aura eReader and PC.

Has anybody experience this situation where there are no ePub to download with purchased books?

Yes... one of the clues as to the format can be seen in the list of devices the book can be read on; it only lists Tablets / IOS / Android / Desktop.

The last time I ran into one of these ebooks, I could download it into the Kobo Desktop application but not transfer it to a Kobo ereader.

One of the nice things about the Kobo website of recent past was that they were explicitely stating what file format the book was available in before buying. I though it actually (almost) made the rest of the site worth putting up with.

Alas, the one good thing got remove in the last redesign.

No, the book is not synced with the Kobo Desktop.

Even more strange if you try and search for the book in the Kobo Desktop, it does not appear.

But the same book searched does appear in the Android Kobo app.

No, it does not. The only place the book appears is on my Android tablet.

I contacted Kobo Support and they confirmed what I suspected:

I haven't seen it, but from the description it seems to be the kind of book (interactive, needs color) that isn't suitable for an e-ink reader. Perhaps that is the reason. Still Kobo, CLEARLY display what formats a book is available in before we buy.
