As suspected you do have a custom column called FORMATS. Let's see what it is. Please highlight the Formats row (right above the Yes/No row) and then click the big blue i icon on the right of the screen. This will show the definition of the Formats custom column.

Well; this column IS incorrect as expected.
You either want to drop this custom column (highlight the row and then click the green recycle icon (just beneath the green UP arrow on the right hand side), or correct the line Code:
formats} Code:
{:'approximate_formats()'}
I think you should drop the column. You will have to restart calibre after making the change. |

And probably what happened is when you were defining the Yes/No column you accidentally clicked on the word Formats on the Quick create line; this would have made a Formats column for you. Then you accidentally dropped the 1st character of the template.

![]() the Icon definitely shows it as a custom column, and your error (message) stands out like a sore thumb |

All is well again. Here's the result without that spurious column: http://gyazo.com/5e1ab4491b26717a3b5b9e1b22d5192d As PeterT said, I must have hit that Formats on the Quick create line by accident. I never even noticed it. I'll be more careful in the future. Thank you all for your help! ![]() And thanks to Kovid Goyal for Calibre! Frank |
