Well, keep us updated on when It arrives. That will probably give us some idea of how their actual supply situation is.

And as of this evening, their website (Link) is showing it as still in stock

The Illiad is now however out of stock. I wonder if the shortage of the Cybooks got some people to order them instead.

That's Interesting.

I've been checking the link once or twice a day since I posted the update, and I've always seen it in stock.

I wonder whether their getting them in small batches? that may explain the behaviour, as one batch sold out, the system automaticly marked it sold out.

Still, I figure that their supply situation is probably better then NAEB's ever was, as being a major retailer and in Europe, they can negotiate better terms and service from Bookeen.

Same here ... I'm on hold with Customer Services now .. ok .. apparently it is showing as 'in stock' on the website but it's wrong! .. they are expecting stock in on the 16th of October and those who ordered at the £149.99 price will of course pay that price.

Hope this helps .. helped me, as at least I know that it's still happening! .. The lady did say that if I get it somewhere else in the meantime I can cancel no problem! (yeah right! at this price??!)

Ah well, at least they are being honest. It did sound like they were trying to pull a fast one and only ship at the higher price. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on the grounds mistakes are more likely.

Think the onley way we're going to get an accurate answer is bu calling them by phone, as Loopy65 did.

Still, they might have speeded up ordering, if the response was better then expected (We can Hope

Now, its goyt me wondering, which high street chain is going to start carrying the Bebook, to complete the Triad of devices, hmm!

Woo hoo! Just received mine; no email from WHS, the 'my account' page still showing the order as 'In Progress', but I had a knock on my door 10 mins ago and there it was - Cybook, cover and cable, just as I bought mine from Bookeen in June, but at not much more than half the price. Fab.

So, looks like the earlier orders are starting to come through; just FYI I ordered mine on the 7th, so hang in there

Just got mine too .. all pluggd in and charging .. exactly the same as for you .. no update to the order page .. still showing 'in progress' .. and voila it's here!!

My sister ordered hers on the 8th and hers arrived this morning also ..

yup I think it's 'broken' but wouldn't it be awesome if it was 'broken' enuf for them to send me out an additional unit! lol

I had no excuse to order one except Hubby decided he wanted one too so I got lucky ..
