I shouldn't have said anything. It's not called "periwinkle," anyway-- look at any of the "women's dark tshirt" items and roll the mouse over "violet." Looks like periwinkle to me, so that's what I call it.

oh, ok, i see it now. that's ok then, i don't like that colour. i wish the cardinal red was available in the women's t-shirts though, i LOVE that colour. the sscmdb looks AMAZING on that colour. i might get one anyway, even if it is too big for me. maybe i could take in the sides a bit.

I just checked on the travel mugs. The date they went out of stock was August 13, and the post in the support forum at CP says they expected them back in "3-4 weeks." So we should have them available soon.

I suppose it was too much to expect the journals to take off with the "moleskine" crowd, but I did think they were a nifty idea and might appeal to some.

oh, it appealed plenty to me. i had that in my original shopping cart (you know, the one totalling close to 400$

). it was a tough decision, but i'm hoping to get one next time. (blank pages for me. i love that you can choose.)

some things i am sure of, yes. they are rare and precious and should be savoured, since you never know when the next one will come along.

It will be a gift. Will I explain the phrase to the person? Not likely.

So start your holiday shopping early. Neko-Chan's is more than just a T-shirt store (just as a great newspaper should be more than a fish wrapper.) Maybe the place will be in business until then, maybe not. Why take chances not getting that perfect gift for those that you love (or want to confuse.) Don't shop in a mall, give Neko-Chan a call.
