How old is MobileRead? How many books in library?
I've been asked on a publisher's forum 'How old is MobileRead?' and 'How many books in the MobileRead Library?' I've looked around the Forums and can't find out.

Can anyone tell me where to look, or give me the answers to the questions?

MobileRead is just over ten years old.
There are a little over 25,000 books in the library, but many of them are duplicates in different formats or different editions.

There are 7302 Mobipocket books and 6350 ePubs.

You can find out about our library at any time. Just click the E-books in the top banner and then choose browse. The number of eBooks is shown in the top line in the search results. Changing the format will result in a new search result that will show exactly how many books there are in that format.

I mean that the count in the ebook list probably refers to threads in the uploads section. There could be some thread without book (rare), and some threads with more than one book. And of course, there's duplicates and all the usual caveat.

Sorry I misunderstood. Yes there are some threads with multiple books in them with variations in the format. The best count is the one I provided by clicking E-Books in the banner and clicking browse Latest uploads. It is the official number.
