no worries neko, no-one will blame you for that. even in france it looks like it was only temporary. i think to win out over *this* storm you would need to keep chanting for a long time...

This is coming for us this weekend, some of the cloud bands are already here. Not supposed to be a strong storm, just lots of rain. We need the rain, but this thing dropped 15 inches on FL yesterday. That's a bit too much for any one day, don't you think?

Neko, keep doing that rain chant! We want rain, just not ALL of the rain!

Last year in August, a month before we moved here, it dropped about 600mm in one day (23.5") and just a few kilometres north, 700mm (27.5"). Tropical lows don't mess around when it comes to shedding moisture, hey?
