Should I be notified of updates to my subscribed threads in tapatalk 2 in iOS via push notifications?

Since we're on the topic of Tapatalk I haven't been able to figure out what happens when I unsubscribe a thread on the PC, because I still get updates in Tapatalk.

I'm using Tapatalk HD for iPad, and by clicking on a post and then selecting "Web View", I can give people karma. It's a couple of extra steps, but it works nicely.

It is an option in Android version 4.2.1. When viewing a post tap the three dots (options menu) in the top right and select open in browser.
