Wonder why The Hobbit or LotR trilogy is not on that list? I'm still debating buying individual copies of the trilogy (I have the 3 in 1 version Kindle book) for the reduced Audible versions.

It is a list of Kindle titles with companion audiobooks discounted to $3.95. The matching audiobooks for The Hobbit and LotR are a bit more.

They are still a good deal if you own the Kindle book....better than using a credit.

Is anyone getting the Tantor 4.99 deal to show? When I go there and put books in the cart, it shows them at the 50% off, not at the 4.99 download price.

Looks like they pulled the offer, even though they claimed it would expire on 01 Jan.

It has nothing to do with the world revolving around the US. Deals usually expire on a given date/time where the company is located. In this case in the US (Connecticut).

Fair enough. But it's a US company...so I expected US timing.

Being on US "eastern time", I generally benefit when companies are on "central" or "west coast" time. I don't remember exactly when I posted, but it was well before midnight my time.

Audibles error messages for sales you don't qualify are hopelessly obscure and make it look like you went to the wrong URL
