Oh that sounds so good! Every muscle in my body is screaming after last night's workout: Walked a mile on the track, then swam almost 1/4 mile. The reason for the "almost" is that in the univ pool here, there is a "Lazy River" kind of thing running opposite the lap lanes. However, usually a whirling vortex diverts most of the current. The vortex is broken, so that powerful current came on at 7:00 and blasted me almost into the next lane, except for clotheslining on the lane rope. That was the end of that! But a nice warm spa sounds so good to my aching muscles! Enjoy one for me!

No, no, no....remember, we decided that it wasn't a misspell - it was "highly creative use of your matured lexographic experience" and that I am merely elaborating on the details, the definition, of your invention. You will be remembered for your brilliance, desertgrandma, at least if I have anything to do about it. Folks, "ugy" is NOT a negative descriptor - it is a state of unresolvable, volatile, redundantly-subjective, polarised, rhetorical response to new design, unfortunately posing as an absolute. I repeat...the Kindle is ugy, and I want one. Cheers, Marc

To quote myself.... ugy Design of such an anachronistic, unconventional, erratic or démodé variety that it promotes an immediate response of apparently universal and vitriolic condemnation, almost as immediately contradicted by equal vitriol and strong defence from purchasers numbered by the product's apparent market success. (see "Kindle") and "Folks, "ugy" is NOT a negative descriptor - it is a state of unresolvable, volatile, redundantly-subjective, polarised, rhetorical response to new design, unfortunately posing as an absolute." "Ugy" is a neutralising acknowledgement. Cheers, Marc |

Ugy? Kindle is a rock star compared to mine - brown as a turd and black&gray LCD screen. But even the ugy need love, and I love it. |
