			By the way, it's not just the publishers mentioned in the email.  If you check the link included, there's information on other publishers, as well.  Penguin is mentioned.

			So I assume this is being offered only to those holding US accounts ?  I have 2 Amazon accounts I received the email on the US one but not the Aussie one. I make the majority of my purchases with my Aussie account, the US one had only a few initial purchases on the gift card to set it up after that they are all only freebie books. 			There is more information below the Amazon email. You have to be a US resident and not in the state of Minnesota, their Attorney General did not participate. The US courts can only effect Businesses operating in the US. I believe that the EU is looking into this subject. I thought I had read that all of the companies had settled.
