How to convert pdf to an ebook with pictures for Kindle?

I'm trying hard to convert a pdf file (textbook for school) to a readable file on Kindle. It has pictures.

How can i convert the pdf to a file on the Kindle that is readable and has the pictures too??

I was able to convert the file to mobi without pictures with Calibre.

I also managed to create a mobi file that supposedly has the graphics (pictures) but they're all inverted and when i open the file on the kindle the graphics don't show up...

Can you help me?
