Thanks.

What I also need to know is does anyone have any experience of the Amazon shop store called e-readers? They are selling the Cybook for £253 and say next day delivery.

Bookeen have it for £269 and 12 days delivery.

Hi there.

Don't know of an amazon shop, but is this the same company as www.e-readers.co.uk ? No direct experience of them - I only found out about them after I'd ordered mine from Bookeen. As said before, Bookeen have hiked the price in £s recently due to currency fluctuations; I assume e-readers.co.uk are working on pre-price-hike stock, but it might be worth checking that price before ordering..?

Bookeen quote 12 days for delivery, but in reality it seems to be a couple of days within the EU - mine was.

Hope this helps,

Peter.

Before you ordered from E-readers, did you make sure you were getting the NEW version of the Gen3? If you are not getting the new edition, I suggest you see if they can get you the new one and if not, chancel the order and find someplace else selling the new version. The new version is the one with the 512megs that doesn't need an SD card to drain even more battery.

Well done. Did you order the case from them as well? I'm going away in a couple of weeks and am a bit pi$$ed off that case I ordered from Bookeen still hasn't 'followed-on' yet - a month after I took delivery of the Cybook Might have to double-order one from E-readers...

@JSW - they only seem to list the new version on the website, so I presume that's what they supply.

Cheers, Peter

Yes, I did order the case.

I think it is the new version. How do I tell? I have uploaded the new firmware.

Seems fine so far but I have been rather busy and I have only loaded up a few books and read about two pages.

Weekend might be the time for a real test.
