Sony T1 $65 at Target clearance - Page 4

The Target I went to on Friday had 4 black ones @ $90 each. They sold out over the weekend. I just bought the last white one in my area at a different Target for $65. They had 2 black ones left at $90 each. That finder website link worked great to identify which Targets had them in-stock! Thank you!

Just picked up the black for $65 at Target in Keene, NH. Had about 5 more in stock.

I spoke with Target. It seems they are only going to the Nook in the future, so they are clearing away all the others.

Yeah, the one where my wife works told me the same thing, but they weren't putting the Kindles on clearance, nor did they have any sony's in stock for clearance. Even the place holder price tags were gone.

Probably just as well, seeing as how our washer broke 3 weeks ago.

I got a white one after calling all the local Targets in my area. I have the original nook, which has been acting up lately. Wow, really am enjoying the PRS-T1! It's great! Only thing is I have to figure out how to update the firmware and then work with Calibre.

Calibre may have bricked my PC after I downloaded it and the alf add-ons, and I just had my PC repaired. Anyone else ever had any problems with Calibre corrupting their PC start up files (I have Windows 7 pro).

I had to totally reinstall Windows a while back because my start up files were completely borked. I didn't even think about it having anything to do with Calibre. I assume it is from the Alf plug ins, which I did have, not Calibre itself. I certainly hope not as I can't imagine my Sony without Calibre to manage it.

I don't believe that Calibre itself could "bork" or "brick" your computer. I would suggest asking this in the Calibre section of the forums, you'd be much more likely to get an educated response about this.
I've installed Calibre and the Alf plugins to many friends' computers with no issues.

They're most likely all gone. You just have to keep calling & go immediately. There were 4 in the Niagara Falls/Buffalo, NY area but the 1 store that had them dumped them for the $38.98 earlier this week.

If I saw them, I'd have bought all 4 that's for sure.

FYI - they don't hold clearance items & Target stores don't match other Target stores clearance prices.

Good luck to you but you may be too late.
