Also, it is a Free Friday selection on Nook, which are one-day-only deals. I assumed the other stores were price-matching. | |

Here's the other thread posted Monday by mitford13. I don't think you can search 3 letter "words".

For the last few days, every time I look @ this one it's $1.11 @ Amazon. So I broke down & paid $0.99c @ Kobo. I don't enjoy paying for a "Freebie" but there are worse things in this life! |

Is this a bad time to tell you that sometimes Canadians get HarperCollins freebies a month after the US people do and that you can lie to Sony about your address and they just plain don't care?

Nah. I'm ok with it. I do have a US account with Amazon & a US shipping address, but I think they have figured out I'm a Canuck. Had notices about my country, and a "Have you moved?" thingy pop up. So I had to confess.... Since I'm a primary Kobo user, I find it just as easy to buy in my proper format.. That is, until I pick up my bargain Kindle from my US shipping address.... For .99c I will try not to get too worked up about it. And I've yet to master using Calibre. So it's just as well...
