I am going to travel to Mexico in a a few weeks. I think I am going to spend most of time on Yucatan peninsula in hotel. I wonder what electricity they have. I am worrying how I am going to charge my digi camera and sony reader. Do they have 110v like in the USA or 220V like in the rest of the world? What type of power sockets they have, USA type or European? Please advise me Thank a lot. |

Puerto Vallarta on the Pacific side was no different from being home. You turned west at the Walmart to reach the hotel. Well, the same except for the extra keys on their computer keyboards. Have a GREAT VACATION! |

Sure thing....as long as I see anything besides food and ....more food and some sea... It is going to be beach holiday However, my wife is planning two trips. I am looking forward to taking a few pics. I am not taking my laptop with me and I bought 2 spare 4G CF cards a few days ago. So I don't run out of storage space for a few pics |

Good news. I am pretty sure my sony reader prs-500 came with American charger(although it works with 220V too!) and plug. I have a converter/or can buy one easily UK to USA plug for my canon charger. Although I am not sure it is suitable for 110V. Although it is possible it has the same property as Sony Reader's charger, which makes them suitable for both 110V and 220V at the same time. I will have a look at mine tonight or tomorrow and post here what is written on the back of the Canon charger. |
