I am not actually writing this post, I am dictating it.

I am dictating it using my new iPad 3, I wonder if I can actually do this more regularly.

I am even able to start a new paragraph.

Just by talking.

I can talk a lot faster than I can type.

And as a foreign language speaker I appreciate the lack of typos, abbreviations and mistakes that make reading and understanding other posts sometimes very difficult.

That scene always bothered me. If the computer operated on voice command, then why would there be a keyboard in front of it? And since computers of the 23rd century operated by voice command, how does Scotty even know how to type; let alone at such blazing speed? Additionally, how does he know how to use ancient computer technology?

But then, the scene would be dull without the contrived plot line.
