Stranger at Wildings from Madeleine Brent

Maybe you can get it at a bibliothek or second hand.

A Tale Of Two Cities has to have one of the strongest openings of any book I have read.

Oh no ...Intensity ...just get better and better with every page ( heck they made a TV movie of it...almost exact copy of book ...)
And Deathstalker is his last name Owen Deathstalker...a sci fi book

Maybe it's just a matter of taste, way8lifter. I looked these up on Amazon. While the reviews were very good for Intensity, it sounded too gory for my taste. I then checked out Deathstalker and it seemed too heavy on the sci fi. I've never managed to get into the sci fi genre. Thanks for the suggestions.
