I think it's what was implied. And if not, then it doesn't matter because sweeping generalizations about every Apple customer in the world would be far too stupid to merit serious discussion. We're all slaves to marketing, and anyone who thinks they aren't is in a semiotic coma.

I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen from work. Didn't cost me anything. I can read magazines on it if I write them myself, and if I draw quickly enough, it's practically video. I'm very, very smart.

But it looks like Samsung will have them again in the future. Their days of Apple aping are over and they have moved on. Same with mobile flash, this definitely is Apple's doing. I never play flash games, but flash video works just fine on my Android 2.2 phone and on my tablet with both OSs, in the hacked ICS and under WebOS. And there are plenty of websites were you either get low quality HMTL5 video or flash only. Some day, when all websites have made the switch, I won't care. But now I need flash and I greatly resent Apple for its anti Adobe smear campaign. Anyway, that ship has sailed.

Different people, different world views. The big grumbles comes from the "winner-take-all" world of gadgets today, which interfere with the different needs. Brand X developes a dominate position, everybody developes for brand X. But if brand X doesn't do certain functionality that you want/need, you're left in the lurch over time. People grumble about that. And they particularly grumble when they see what they want, but Brand X's profit decisions prevent them from "having it all". And it doesn't matter who Brand X is... |

If you draw quickly enough you get a better refresh rate than e-ink, too.

I'll admit to being an Apple fan, have been for a long time, but of course they make mistakes and nothing anyone makes is ever perfect. That said, they've had a remarkable streak of home runs this last decade. You'd have to be blind to not see that. No one expects it'll last forever but for those of us old enough to have struggled through the 90s, it's sweet. I try not to gloat. That would be unbecoming. |

Everyone has a place in this world. As a human being, I just don't condone such actions. As a Samsung owner, it repulses me.

i do not think everyone is afford to have one BMW or Ferrari, but they can try to earn themselves a Nissan through hard working. statistically, high-end market share only takes up 20% of the whole market share, while the 80% belongs to the middle class. anyone knows which is higher.

Experience. C'mon, not everyone (most even) who buys an Apple product belongs to the "Cult of Apple". But if I had a nickel for everytime I heard..."I only buy Apple products, they're just the best", well, I'd have a buck. But thats a lot more than I'd get for any other company. Apple more than anybody else, offers a kind of "cradle to grave" (for lack of a better phrase) experience to its users. Hardware, software, product range, OS integration, etc...all Apple. And they are mostly good. And well marketed. And they look great. They've almost become a fashion accessory. And that's a deliberate marketing ploy. Well done, Apple. Windows, Android, Linux users have a choice of hardware. Mac OS users don't. Samsung, Asus, Acer users have a choice of OS. Apple hardware users don't. Ergo, the other brands just don't generate the same kind of brand loyalty. An Android fanboi is not loyal to Samsung, just the OS. A Samsung fanboi is not loyal to windows, just the hardware. It's that simple, really. Apple has created a vastly loyal fan-base with nice-looking, quality products, that are priced at the higher end of the market. And they have a cohesive vision of how to serve that fan-base. Some of that fan-base are irritating fanbois who only consider Apple products when purchasing. They have a hard time admitting that Apple makes mistakes, if they even can. (That was the context of my quote, remember?) These annoy me and make me laugh. That was my entire point. The remaining Apple users, the vast majority of them, are not. Sorry for the length of this post, but I am trying to make myself as clear as possible here. |

The KF costs $200. For that price, compromises must be made. Still, Amazon chose not to include it for the same reason as Apple, the walled garden thing. Shame on them. Samsung + Apple are totally milking their customers for extra $. Does anybody have any idea what it would cost Apple or Samsung to add a Micro SD card to their tablets? At mass production rates? I don't, but I'd be curious to find out...
