open ADE full screen
I'm working on a demo that opens ADE to display the epub document. Is there a way I can have ADE automatically open to full screen and have more book viewing area and a smaller left side area?

There are several ways to launch an application.
To answer your question properly its useful to know how you launch ADE from your demo and what's your programming plattform.

Then there will be possible to point out a solution to launch always with maximized window.

Getting some influence on the behavior inside, i.e. make the book viewing area larger is something else. If there aren't related command-line parameters, i guess it's impossible.

ADE is the only reader on my computer, so by default extension association when attempting to open the file it opens ADE. It's launched from a word plug-in. Any more details then that and I'll have to ask the programmers.

Changing the icon's properties to Run: Full Screen does work. You could try that and see if it work with your Word plug-in.

If it's only for your computer, it's ok to try JSWolf's suggestion, probably it will work.

If it is for distribution, we should maybe talk about some API-Calls to built in in your "word plug-in" ...
