Went back and forth a few times, trying to decide whether to buy all of them now or one per month or something else, and then just gave in and bought the entire set.

1. I already own them in Hard Cover. 2. I do not plan to reread them any time soon. |

It's definitely not my bag, but I'm glad everybody finally has a chance to buy what they've wanted (legally) for so long. I'm also thrilled that something/someone this big chose to use watermarking instead of one of the more restrictive, crippling forms of DRM.

Well, I pulled out my credit card, prepared to buy them OMG, right this second, and then realized I have to buy the US editions. *sigh* I'm still totally going to buy them, I'm just a bit disappointed they're region-locked. May have to hit up the local second-hand bookstore and see if I can round out my paper set of the UK editions through them instead.

I already have all or nearly all of them in paper, and I won't re-read them until my daughter will read them with me. She refuses! What is wrong with her?

I doubt if the price is ever going down for these.
I already have the paper version (mixed UK/US because I didn't pay attention when ordering book 2-4, and also in Japanese). I don't like the US "translation" but the US books are much nicer with illustrations and all, too bad that still holds true for the ebooks. I might go for the French version when it becomes available, though. These books helped me improve my English a lot, maybe they can do the same for my French. |
