Green? I thought pollen was yellow!!! Very nice spring weather here, and if the weather forecast it right (no reason why it should, but I'm hopeful), the week-end should be delicious. |

We have both green & yellow pollen here. The tree pollen (which is now burying us) seems to be predominantly green. Another night of endless storms - we're having pop-up thunder storms that don't move. Continuous thunder & lightning from 9 pm to around midnight, livened up with monsoon rains at 11 pm. Sigh ... we'll be in this weather pattern for at least the next week. |

Your snaky persona will be developing a webbed tail! It does seem to be overdoing it up your way. We are promised a cold wet day tomorrow, but that's okay - a good day to stay inside and read! |

Shoes all floated away Had enough rain now! Last edited by SneakySnake; 03-22-2012 at 04:02 AM. Reason: self moderation - rude language |

Rain has eased up and back door not under water anymore! Localised flooding caused a few evacuations etc. But back to my issues. Bloody pool chlorinator computer not happy. - made it difficult to pump out overflowing pool. Circuit board a but stuffed and now can't put time in. Bloke has kinda fixed it so it will run with a bit of help, but really need a new one. Things always break when it rains. and poor cat not happy - he spent the whole day on the couch and is now very bored and wants out, but still raining. |

Didn't get storms last night - they stayed south of us. Heavy morning fog. Sunny & continued unnaturally warm - it's official - the USA has had the 8th warmest winter ever recorded.

Now waiting to see if killer storm, currently bashing the midwest, arrives full force Friday night/Saturday morning to finish us off! [nipping out to mow the lawn tonight - may be my last chance for a semi-dry lawn for some time!] |

Because of this hideously unnatural warm "winter" the ticks are already a problem now - no frost to kill them. So preparing to mow almost takes longer than mowing the lawn [summer wellies, white cotton clothing all tucked in, lots & lots of Deep Woods Off, etc.] Clouding up now - very humid. |
