Ok. Good for you. Hate it then. You'll spin anything to hate the iPad. Mobile flash is dying. Most sites work just fine on iPad. I know, it's hard to accept. I'm not sure what obscure reason you want t for. But for my needs I don't. Enjoy anther tablet then. I'm still not sure of your point for pointing it out. But ok.

Had my ipad about 9 months. The 32 gig version. So far used 6 gigs. Tell me I need an expansion slot again? I keep forgetting |

A SD card slot that properly integrated with main memory to allow additional storage would be an good feature. The device with it would be better than the device without it. But the iPad is already available with 64Gb, which is a reasonable amount of storage, so the lack is not as pressing as it would be with less storage. And the nearest competitor, the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 also doesn't have an SD slot, and has indeed <cough>completely copied</cough> I mean independently discovered the Apple solution of plug-in SD and USB adapters. |

You fell into the trap. There is a 16GB model that you could have bought at $100 cheaper, and you probably would have done so had it come with a SD slot, but the fact that it didn't means that people go for higher capacity models "just in case"; it is a very clever scheme, you can't deny that - devious, some would call it.

Yes, consumers have a choice but as in the case with most non-techie folks buying desktops and laptops at the local big box retailer, they're usually easily influenced by sales people. Last edited by ilovejedd; 03-19-2012 at 01:43 PM. | |

The only up sell came from people rabbiting on about how I needed an expansion slot and since there wasn't one I mistakenly believed I needed a lot of storage. At the store I told them what I wanted, they asked what colour and that was that. If I bought again I would buy the 32 again. For the extra money I would prefer the extra space for in case. |
