Finally got around to installing the hack. It works great!! My 505 looks menus are much nicer now. And I love the clock!

Never did it.. Just life got in the way and then I totally forgot about it. I'll see if I can have a go at it sometime this week if I can find the time.

I am very interested in knowing this as well. I posted a similar request in PRS-500's forum and no opinions so far.

Sorry, but as I only do English, I am not about to go trying to change the actual menu text.

If you reset the 505 to factory default settings (not sure what combination of keys, reset button does that) would that remove the hack?

Now that a new firmware has been announced, I was wondering two things:

1. Will we need to remove the hack before installing the new firmware?
2. How do you remove the hack - will we loose our library content?

I hope this was thought out in advanced, although the hack was great - I do not want a reader that cannot take full advantage of the new updates.

No, the firmware update will wipe out all the hacks. And library content should remain.
