Zelda, just out of curiosity, is there a clear difference in commonly spoken French between "stupid client phone calls" that distinguishes "phone calls by stupid clients" instead of "stupid phone calls by clients"? Of course, it's possible for it to mean "stupid phone calls by stupid clients", too.

well, since french puts adjectives after the nouns they modify (clients débiles, appels stupides, questions bêtes...) you can pretty easily specify which noun exactly of the sentence you are modifying.

un coup de fil débile d'un client = a stupid phone call from a client
un coup de fil d'un client débile = a phone call from a stupid client
un coup de fil débile d'un client débile = a stupid phone call from a stupid client

sadly, i am frequently plagued by this problem in all its intricate and multi-form variety.

If these are the results then I'd like to suggest putting the limit back in. The big L was bad enough, but I really don't like when you basically read the signature before you see the message.
I know I can disable the signatures, but that would hide them all and I do like a few.

I have to agree, igorsk, though I enjoy both of those people and their posts immensely, a thread full of giant signatures is a bit distracting.

You'd think that someone with a name like pshrynk, would make things smaller, not larger. They should all be pshrunk to a proper pshize.
