| Yes, it's my security blanket. I have bought purses/jackets/clothing around my need to carry it at all times. | | 87 | 32.58% |
| Yes. Well, most of the time. I'm not as obsessive as the people in Option 1. | | 89 | 33.33% |
| About 50/50 for me. The people in Option 1 and 2 are pretty extreme. I like pina coladas. | | 39 | 14.61% |
| Not really. I didn't vote in Option 3 because I thought it sounded kind of sanctimonious. | | 34 | 12.73% |
| No, I keep my eReader at home, often in a locked safe. If I don't take the wrapper off, it will accrue in value. | | 9 | 3.37% |
| Dear madam, these poll options are dreadful, and additionally I have a kipper in my ear. | | 19 | 7.12% |

I always bring mine. Always. I've been caught too many times with nothing to read, when I left the house thinking, "oh I'm just running out for a second, I don't need to bring the reader." I haven't bought anything because of that need, since I carry a purse anyway.

Yes. Apparently, I've been blessed/cursed with a face that invites strangers to tell me their problems. This is a burden since I'm a non-driver & rely on public transport. With my attention fixed on something to read & my MP3 player plugged into my ears, I hope to project a "No, I don't want to hear about what your drunk neighbor did to your hamster" demeanor. |

I find that I carry my ereader with me far more often than I used to do with paper books as those often tended to be too thick for a jacket pocket and also I wouldn't take one with me if it was nearly finished, whereas that isnt an issue for an ereader.

I only take one along if I know I'll have an extended period of time to read. Mostly I take my iPhone for entertainment if I get bored.

I fall somewhere between option four and five. But three didn't sound sanctimonious and I don't own a safe. Simply put; my reader always stays at home... because I never go anywhere. |

I take it with me *everywhere*, and frequently room to room in the house. The only place it doesn't go is in the barn; there's no way to read while I'm feeding the chickens and sheep. Otherwise it's in my hand or in my bag (with my knitting, which also accompanies me everywhere; I always have socks-in-progress). Now I just need the perfect stand for my Kindle Fire, that will let me read in portrait mode, hands-free, while I knit!

I take mine everywhere. I can count on one hand the number of times that I didn't have it with me in my purse in 3 years that I've had an e-ink reader. It really is my security blanket. I also often have a p-book with me in my purse, too - but those are often needed for some school-related business.

I started carrying my reader with me everywhere when I got the Sony 350. I even bought a small Tom Bihn cafe bag so it fit in nicely with my other stuff. |

I don't take mine outside my house. Partly because I don't have a cover yet (I use the box it came in) and partly because I'm a SAHM to a 3 year old. If I'm out and about I have a toddler with me so I wont be able to read anyway lol.

I've started carrying it almost everywhere. I will leave it in the car to pop into a store. Being an American male, I don't carry a purse or manbag or whatever, so it's either in my hand or a coat pocket depending on the weather. I picked option 2, although I was extremely tempted to pick option 6 as I frequently have a kipper in my ear. Dean |

I MOSTLY carry mine everywhere. My backup plan is that I copy the book I am currently reading onto my iPhone - because I definitely am going to have that with me. I have no trouble remembering what chapter/page I am up to, so it only takes a few seconds to get to where I need to be. I also keep some back-up books on the iPhone just in case I finish the book I am reading. It is really annoying when I am reading a paper book and I have to decide whether to add it to my handbag - all that stupid weight! Angela |

It always goes with me when I travel, but for short day trips, I just use my phone.
