				Amazon Market Issues

I've got a Pocket eDGe, with Ermine installed. Root via z4root. When I try to download anything from Amazon, it insists on me having 1-click purchasing setup, and for that it needs a mobile number. Is there a way around this? Or am I doing the wrong thing? |

It's easier to set up your Amazon account through your PC. Then once you turn on one-click you should be able to get their market through your PE. You have had them send you the link for their app, right??

Just putting in a home phone worked. I already had an amazon account setup, it was just this one piece of info I didn't want to hand out to another marketer unnecessarily. The way the amazon site described it, it used the number to match my phone to the account, but I guess that was bs in the end.

I hate giving retailers my phone number, too, and avoid it whenever possible. Glad you got it working! |
