Anyone who has received their Touch, are you able to load books onto your Touch using Calibre??

...and Touch is no-go, too, evidently. I'm sure Kovid will get on it by Friday.

EDIT:

After running the Calibre welcome Wizard, Calibre did, in fact, detect my Touch. So that's good to go. Now I'll try the Fire.

Beg to differ. My touch is working without a hitch on both Windows and OSX calibre. I'm using the latest versions on both platforms.

Is the Touch using it's own kindle device plugin or the Kindle 2/3 one? My Touch will be delivered today so I am eager to get it up and running.

It's using the same one as 2/3, I believe, since there isn't an option to select one for itself.

Thanks I had a little trouble getting it recognized but that might have been because I was using the same port as my k2, once I unplugged and replugged I was in business. Now to get it all loaded and collections imported....
