Are you going to make the one hundred books read goal?

Are you going to cross the finish line this year? I think that I am going to come up a little short of the finish line.

It was never in doubt that I would not reach 100 books. 43 for me right now is a spectacular result though.

I didn't join because I knew 100 was not achievable; I don't have that much time to read. I will probably read around 60 by year's end.

Nope.. Looks like I've got 66 finished so far (ebooks, DTB and audio books) and I'll probably be close to my total last year of 75.

I crossed 100 already back in June sometime. I had been through a real reading frenzy for about 6 months.
I've slowed down considerably since, and if I finish one book/week I'm happy. Well, actually I'm happy whether I do that or not...

I don't think that I will, but I did pass my personal goal of "something more than 65" and I'm pretty happy with that.

Reaching 100 is not impossible, but considering the books I'm currently reading, it is also not attainable unless I deliberately switch over to only short and quick books instead of choosing whatever book I want. I'm not willing to make that compromise for the sake of an internet tally.

At this point, I'm hoping to make it to 50. It has been a difficult year, and reading is my last priority anywy. Being reduced to only listening to books has only slowed me further.

Unfortunately, I never set out to make the goal. I saw others doing it and thought meh. I've read something between twenty and fifty, I imagine.

I do spend a lot of time writing.

Only if you go by pages...I have the equivalent of 99 200 page books finished now, but only 66 actual books (including short stories).

I think I'll make it two around 50, ranging from around 400-1300 pages so I would guess at an average of about 600 pages each.

It wasn't a goal of mine, because I usually read at least that many a year. Even when I'm super busy, as I have been lately, I read at least 2-3 books a week. Granted, I'm a creative writing teacher, so some of those books are assigned for my classes and I read or reread them, but I'm also reading for pleasure. When I'm less busy, like in the summer, I often read 4 books a week or more, depending on the length of the book.

But I'm also a fast reader, so this is really easy for me.....
