Bulk Title Mod Option??

This is probably answered elsewhere but as a newbie, I can't seem to find it.

I have d/l'ed a bunch of books in one series and all the titles have 01, 02, 03, etc. at the beginning of the title. Is there another way to ditch these short of highlighting and deleting them?

Use the Search and Replace section of the bulk Metadata editor.

select a bunch of books with the 'problem'
set the title field to search:
something like: \d+(space)
Replace field: title


The trailing space (or any sequence of separators) before the title, will be gobbled up.

Backup your Library and TEST on a few (easily fixed ) before committing on a big replace
