				Better bookmarking

			I noticed that the latest firmware has no bookmarks as such. It has "Auto-bookmarking" that works well most of the time, but sometimes I want to dogear a page and then thumb through the book backwards (or forwards) and then come back to the place I dogeared. As far as I can see there is no way to NOT lose your place in the book if you want to look back in the book and then come back. Sometimes i would want to dogear several pages. Maybe instead of dogear we can call it a post-it sticky with a reference mark of some sort. It's similar to annotation, but not specific to a place on the page. Also, annotations are not so quick to get to. Placing a bookmark in a book should be as fast as we can dogear a paper book. I would also like to support requests for clock next to the battery meter. More choices for page turn areas (horizontal stripes are a great idea) More choices of organizing library views. It is really hard and slow to get to the book I want with recent reads or by author or title. I have lots of books in Russian and the search feature is useless for those. Perhaps some sort of alternative keyboard that is configured via desktop and you can have, say, three (or whatever number) of alphabets available. Also, and I realize this is a cost issue, but availability of a model with a larger screen. The current screen has very little text area, though it's perfectly serviceable. Something with text area of an average size book would be amazing. I am not sure how much more cost it would add, but i would pay a bit more for more screen. I am really enjoying the reader A LOT! It is my first one (I own a Kobo Touch) and I am really becoming very fond of it. |

			Multiple bookmarks will be coming soon. With the current firmware you can choose from 3 different page turn areas. I am extremely doubtful that a FIRMWARE update will make the screen bigger |

			Not sure if it will get you what you want, but the 1st button to the left of the space bar will let you use "alternative" characters from other languages.

			New/Old Feature: Have the option to have your current page be the sleep mode page - have the sleep mode banner be down at the bottom, covering the page count. Yes, the couple of seconds it takes to go from sleep mode to live does annoy me when they could so easily set it so that I can read right away. :P [and didn't the pre-Touch Kobos do this? Or am I thinking of a different reader?]

			I was reading, and half way down a page my kobo touch just turned off and wants a charge. Why was there no warning at all? I only have the one charger cable because microusb isn't common enough yet. I have millions of mini usb cables at work. It's going to be a long bus ride home... Please make a battery icon on the bottom or top of each page optional, at least when it is getting low. Preferably all the time. It would only need to update when the page is turned. I would love to have the time too, even if it only updated with the page turn. Thanks for the frequent updates though Chris. |

 Let's see if I can draw something - probably won't look good with proportional fonts. Dots had to be used instead of spaces. ------------------ |...... <--...........| |.......................| ------------------ |.......................| |....... --> .........| |.......................| |.......-----.........| |.......| M |.........| ------------------ | |

			Why not! 10 would be a good start.I don't know if it's a software limitation or an hardware one but i'd take a few more without hesitation. For me, it was a selling point. I tried a few other models and, for me, the forced refresh after every page was a little annoying. |

			Hmm.. How about a limit of 10 and an option for 'only manual'. Then add an icon or some quick way to force a refresh at any time even before the automated refresh.
