Avatar Guidelines
Are there any rules regarding the use of animation in Avatars at MobileRead ?

I've had to go and turn off the display of avatar's as I find one members animated avatar to be extremely distracting. I did PM him to see if he would change it, but had no response of any type.

You can temporarily stop any moving avatar with the esc key.

Install Adblock Plus (know it's available for Firefox and Chrome. Seems to be available to IE). Right-Click on Avatar you don't want to see. Select "Block Image". Select first item in list. All avatars except the one that's bothering will still be visible.

Yes, I thought of (the awesome) Maggie Smith first too, but for my mind memories of Maggie don't have that (The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover) sexiness that Helen has.
