A blonde asked someone what time it was, and they told her it was 4:45. The blonde, with a puzzled look on her face replied, "You know, it's the weirdest thing, I have been asking that question all day, and each time I get a different answer." Stitchawl |

Bert and Mable had had a naughty night to celebrate their 60th anniversary. Sitting naked at the breakfast table Mable says to Bert. "Berty boy, you still make my breast burn with lust." Bert puts his teeth back in and says "Mable, lean back, your t!ts are in the porridge." Last edited by wannabee; 10-10-2011 at 08:20 AM. Reason: Exchanged i for ! to keep out of trouble |

It's sort of . . . . Like this . . . . Where as in the Third World, there are never rainy nights, in the real world it rains down with thunder storms. That's when you would never send a dog out on a night like that. Spoiler:

If it's any comfort, I don't understand what you've just said, either! A spoonerism is a mixing up of the initial (or other) sounds of two words. Named after the Reverend William Archibald Spooner, member of New College, Oxford, from 1860s to 1924. Most that are attributed to him are unlikely to have really be uttered by him. Perhaps the most famous is making a toast to the monarch: "Three cheers for the queer old Dean!" |

"You'd better be prepared for the jump into hyperspace. It's unpleasantly like being drunk" "What's so unpleasant about being drunk?" "You ask a glass of water!" |

I'm not a pheasant plucker, I'm the pheasant plucker's mate; I'm only plucking pheasants 'cos the pheasant plucker's late. One song where it's vital to avoid spoonerisms.... |
